YORKSHIRE (5g Snitzel x Chanteline) capped a remarkable Spring campaign with a dominant win in the G2 1600m $2M The Ingham (Villiers) at Randwick on 13 December 2025.
Sent out favourite The Ingham victory was his 8th win in just 11 starts. YORKSHIRE demonstrated again that he has the tactical versatility to use his gate speed to take up a tactical position, to sustain a solid tempo, to accelerate and find under pressure and sustain a long run sprint to the finish.

According to trainer John O’Shea he is a tough horse who has the capacity to improve further. Yesterday’s victory carried with it ballot exemption into the $4M G1 Doncaster Handicap on 4 APRIL 2026. This time honoured race is one of the jewels of the Australian Pattern and it is the obvious target for his next preparation.
YORKSHIRE was purchased at the Inglis Easter Sale from the Newgate consignment for $575,000 by Rob Rouslton and Mark Player of PR Thoroughbreds. He has now earned $1,675,300 in prize-money and is a G2 and G3 winner.
